John Couri

John Couri, a Kiser Group Associate, brings a proactive, comprehensive approach to his role. His responsibilities include mediating  buyers and sellers expectations, creating property valuations based on economic trends and owner data, and building lasting relationships in the Chicago mid-market. He joined Kiser Group to learn from the leading team in the market and assist in a multitude of deals, recognizing he could bring his own track record in marketing properties and closing deals for the team.

John gained significant experience underwriting value-added multifamily assets while working for a private real estate investment firm during his time at Miami University. He also maintained financial records for an extensive portfolio and oversaw the marketing of 18 apartment buildings. This hands-on experience deepened John’s understanding of the Chicago market, providing him with a detailed understanding of the physical aspects of buildings—a critical component in negotiations at Kiser Group.

John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Miami University Farmer School of Business. He enjoys skiing, immersing himself in diverse cultures through travel, and exploring new restaurants and cuisines.
