Goldman Investments has spent $8.3 million to acquire a 48-unit residential community in Oak Park, Ill. Matt Halper and Marco Cesario from Kiser Group worked on behalf of the buyer. Additionally, Halper represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction.

Located at 930 N. Blvd., the property is within walking distance of several parks and public transit stops, as well as retail and dining options. Additionally, the community is a little over a mile from Concordia University of Chicago and roughly 10 miles west of downtown Chicago. The four-story building comprises 24 one-bedroom and 24 two-bedroom apartments. The asset also includes 31 underground parking spots and a surface lot with 21 parking spaces.

At the end of last year, Halper and Danny Mantis from Kiser Group represented both parties in the sale of a five-story asset in Aurora, Ill. The transaction price had a cap rate of 5.6 percent.
