KISER GROUP’S RENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM – Boyd A. Jarrell & Co.

Boyd A. Jarrell & Co

Each month during 2021, Kiser Group will contribute $2,000 through its Rent Assistance Program on behalf of tenants in need to Chicago-area landlords or property managers for rent owed. Each month we will document how the money was allocated.

Rent Assistance Update

In the latest installment of the program, Kiser Group worked with Boyd A. Jarrell & Co., Inc., a large property management firm and owner in Chicago, to allocate $2,000 in rental assistance.

“As property managers, we do our best to help residents enjoy their time in our facilities,” said Michele Jarrell, Partner at Boyd A. Jarrell & Co., Inc. “We handle maintenance, amenities, move-ins and move-outs, all the usual things. But the past 18 months have brought unimaginable difficulties to so many. Kiser Group’s Rent Assistance Program is an incredible resource for tenants who are trying their best to stay afloat.”

“Kiser Group has several charitable initiatives, but given the economic hardships people face as a result of the pandemic, we sought a way to get money directly into the hands of those who need it most,” said Lee Kiser of Kiser Group. “We realized our clients would know those most in need of help with rent, and we are grateful for Jarrell’s participation.”

Boyd A. Jarrell & Co.’s Impact Story

After receiving the $2,000 rental assistance allocation, Boyd A. Jarrell & Co. shared the following update.

We applied the funds to the account of one Southside tenant who had incurred a large rent balance,” said Jarrell. “The coronavirus pandemic created an unexpected and unanticipated crisis for so many people. Our resident is incredibly grateful for this assistance, which will help get them back on track.”
