Partners Noah Birk and Aaron Sklar arranged the sale of the apartment community at a record per-unit price for the neighborhood.
Kiser Group has arranged the $1.4 million sale of a 12-unit community in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood, securing a record high price per unit for an apartment sale in the area. Partners Noah Birk and Aaron Sklar represented both buyer and seller. Earlier this year, the duo set another record in South Shore, brokering the $18.4 million disposition of a three-property portfolio totaling 208 units.
The community is located at 6754 S. Cornell Ave., a block from Jackson Park Golf Course. Downtown Chicago is less than 10 miles north of the site, while the junction of interstates 90 and 94 is roughly 4 miles east. Stony Island train station is within walking distance, while Rainbow Beach and Park is a short drive to the southeast.
So far this year, the local brokerage firm’s Birk| Sklar team has arranged the sale of 40 properties in the city, including developer Michigan Avenue Real Estate Group’s disposition of a 120-unit community in the West Loop in March. Kiser represented Origin Investments, the buyer of the four-story Monroe Aberdeen Place.
