Lee Kiser is Co-Founder, Principal and Managing Broker of Kiser Group. Founded in 2005 by Lee and his partner, Estella Kiser (General Counsel, Kiser Group), the firm assists private investors and property owners with the acquisition and disposition of both stabilized and value-add multifamily properties – including vintage courtyard and walk-up buildings, mid-rises and garden-style apartment complexes – as well as mixed-use developments throughout the Chicago area. Lee is also an active broker with a career transaction volume more than $3 Billion.

Lee holds a BS in business from the Kenan Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Lee is a member of the Forbes Real Estate Council and an active contributing writer to Forbes.com. Lee is also actively involved in various commercial real estate organizations. These include the Leadership Council of The Preservation Compact (a group formed in conjunction with the MacArthur Foundation to discuss and implement solutions toward the preservation of affordable housing in Chicago), the Lincoln Park Builders of Chicago and the National Multifamily Housing Council. Lee also mentors real estate students at The Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University. In his spare time, Lee enjoys working out, traveling and performing with his band, 6FM.

Estella Kiser

Stella began Kiser Group, along with her husband Lee, after recognizing the need for a cohesive and experienced set of brokers that could expertly serve the commercial real estate community throughout Chicagoland. After years of facilitating multi-family transactions, being in charge of marketing and operations, and overseeing the firm and its agents as its managing broker, Stella currently focuses her efforts at Kiser Group on serving as the firm’s General Counsel. Stella has a commercial litigation background, having worked for two prominent Chicago law firms. During her career in commercial real estate, Stella has been named a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International and recognized as of one of Bisnow’s “Chicago Power Women,” REJournal’s “Successful Women in Commercial Real Estate,” as well as Crain’s “Top 40 under 40.” Stella remains active in the local real estate community, serving as one of the founders and directors for the Neighborhood Building Owner’s Alliance (NBOA) and on the Leadership Committee for The Preservation Compact, led by Community Investment Corporation (CIC) and supported by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation aimed at preserving affordable multi-family rental housing in Cook County. Stella is also a director of the Rogers Park Builders Group where she served as Chair of Government Relations and is a member of CREW (the Chicago Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Executive Women).

Outside of real estate, Stella trains and teaches Shorin ryu karate, where she holds a third degree black belt. She has also trained in Wing Tsun, a Chinese martial art. Stella is an avid cook and enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and sons. She has also volunteered with the Moran Center of Youth Advocacy, representing troubled youth in the juvenile justice system.

Stella earned her B.S. in Business Administration as well as her J.D. with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she served as Managing Editor of the North Carolina Law Review. In addition, Stella has earned her AM in clinical social work from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration.

Noah Birk

Noah is an accomplished broker with a focus primarily on the disposition of apartment buildings on the south side of Chicago. As the area’s most active broker, he has gained a reputation synonymous with integrity, persistence and successful results for his clients.

Noah stays active in the real estate community as a member of the South Side Community Investment Association (SSCIA) and Young Real Estate Professionals (YREP). Noah is also an experienced operator of his own personal multi-family portfolio.

Outside of real estate, Noah is a volunteer mentor/coach with the Sunshine Gospel Ministries youth basketball program. Noah enjoys cooking, loves any type of competition and is always excited to simply relax with family and friends.

Noah graduated with a business degree from Carthage College where he was a defensive back on the football team. Noah and his wife currently reside in Evanston, IL.

Michael D’Agostino

As Director at Kiser Group, Michael combines his financial analytical skills with his interest in commercial real estate to assist multi-family property owners and investors reach their investment goals. Before joining Kiser Group, Michael worked as an investment analyst on a $1.1 billion portfolio, supporting advisors on matters of equity, fixed income and cash, hedge funds, private equity, commodities, foreign exchange, and structured notes. Through his work in the mortgage syndication markets, Michael also gained experience managing structured products securities.

Michael’s focus is multi-family, mixed-use and investment properties on the near north side of Chicago with a focus on Old Town, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Ravenswood and Lincoln Square. During his first 2 years with Kiser Group, Michael closed over $40m in Real Estate.

Michael attended the Applied Investment Management Program at Marquette University where he majored in finance, and graduated with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. He also earned and currently holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. In his spare time, Michael competes in triathlons, plays golf and skis. He lives in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago, serves on the Cystic Fibrosis Junior Advisory Board, and is an active member of Young Real Estate Professionals as well as the Chicago CFA Society.

As a broker at Kiser Group, Andy applies the common threads of his past pursuits to best serve his real estate clientele. As a seasoned business owner himself, he understands the mindset of owners. Before joining Kiser Group, Andy spent 14 years in the Chicago trading pits honing his analytical and financial skill sets.  During his tenure at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Andy was chosen by his peers to serve on several committees, including pit supervision and judicial panels.  Andy was also interviewed by financial media as an expert in stock index futures, and was shadowed by a CNBC camera crew to show an entire day in the life of a trader.  After his trading career, Andy’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to create and run a niche investment fund, re-structure and grow an aesthetic laser company, and co-found a start-up brewery and distribution business in his native Denver, Colorado.  Andy thrives on being an expert in his subject matter and sharing knowledge.

Andy resides in Deerfield with his wife, three children, and dog.  While not working or serving as his children’s Uber driver, Andy enjoys playing golf, platform tennis, and heading back home to Colorado to ski. Andy attended the University of Arizona where he received a B.S. in Business and Public Administration.

Prior to Kiser Group, Stevens ran a start-up investment firm focused on developing attainable, yet premium-grade alternative investment vehicles in the futures and commodities industry.  This experience, along with eight years of client-centric sales and trading developed Stevens skills as a dynamic achiever.

Stevens currently lives in Chicago’s North Center neighborhood with his wife.   In his downtime, Stevens enjoys distance-running, tackling home improvement projects, gardening, and creating culinary masterpieces.

In addition to understanding the economics of real estate, Danny also has experience in the day-to-day management of rental property.

Danny graduated from Carthage College with a Bachelor’s of Science in accounting and business administration and holds a Masters of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. Before joining Kiser Group in 2016, Rick enjoyed a successful career teaching U.S. History and Mathematics in the northern suburbs and north side of Chicago. Rick draws from his experience as an educator to provide clear market analyses for investors and multi-family property owners to assist them in reaching their investment goals.

Rick earned a B.S. in psychology and graduated with distinction from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before earning his M.A.T. from National-Louis University.  Rick lives in Roscoe Village and is an active member of the Edgewater Uptown Builder’s Association (EUBA).  In his free time, Rick can be found at Belmont Harbor, where he is a licensed charter sailboat captain, on the golf course, or in his kitchen cooking up a storm with his wife.

Jake joined Kiser Group as an Analyst in October 2016, and he successfully supported multi-million dollar property closings. Jake’s entrepreneurial spirit started early. He developed and launched a successful online electronics recommerce business which has seen year-over-year growth in the past five years.

Jake graduated with honors from Michigan State University’s The School of Hospitality Business within the Eli Broad College of Business where he majored in Hospitality Business and minored in Real Estate Investment Management. While at Michigan State, he was a member of the Real Estate Investment Club and Sigma Pi fraternity.

Tanius Stamper

She began her commercial real estate career with a well-known national brokerage firm and distinguished herself by representing a variety of trusts, financial service firms, and private investors in the sale of multi-family and mixed-use assets in the Chicago and Northwest Indiana areas.

With an extensive knowledge of the Chicago’s south and west sides, Tanius offers advisory services which include debt restructuring, deal analysis, and identifying areas to add value. She is committed to helping her client create and preserve wealth by offering real-time market analysis that allows them to make informed decisions about their asset and where it fits in the marketplace.

Fred Yarandi

As a broker at Kiser Group, Fred Yarandi focuses on the sale and purchase of mixed-use and multifamily properties on Chicago’s north side, helping property owners and investors achieve the highest return on their investments.  Fred has been a real estate investor for many years and has over 28 years of manufacturing experience in packaging engineering.

Fred has a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an MBA from the University of Chicago.  He has spent many years helping clients with problem-solving, quality and project management, manufacturing process improvement, statistical analysis, lean manufacturing and Six-Sigma methodology.  Fred also ran a consulting business helping clients on new product development, failure analysis, quality management and process improvement.  As an adjunct faculty, Fred has also taught courses in engineering and business management in many colleges and universities including DePaul University and Purdue University at Hammond Indiana.

Fred lives with his wife and his daughter in Glenview and enjoys photography and music.  He is an active member of the World Music Ensemble at Harper College where he plays percussions and performs vocals at various venues.

Tejonne Vinson

Tejonne joins Kiser Group as a Broker Associate after spending two years working as a contract attorney with a variety of corporate clients. She graduated from DePaul University College of Law in May of 2015. At DePaul, she participated in a yearlong real estate clinic focused on Chicago housing and community development. This experience sparked her interest in real estate and led to a legal internship with CBRE in 2014. After spending some time on the legal side of real estate transactions, she decided to transition to the business side to learn more about brokerage and development of commercial properties.

Tejonne is a Chicago native and resides in Hyde Park. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She enjoys trying new restaurants, watching reality TV and spending time with family and friends.

As Office Assistant at Kiser Group, Rebecca is responsible for managing daily administrative duties for the company such as data management, communicating with the brokers to maintain company procedures for all listings, and handling incoming calls and other communications.

Rebecca holds a BFA in Acting/Directing and Theatre Management from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She has worked in a variety of industries from antique sales to childcare before joining the Kiser Group team.

Rebecca is a professional actor who toured 6 states with The National Theatre for Children, educating students on saving natural resources. She is currently a company member with The Cuckoo’s Theater project and performs at various theatres across the Chicagoland area.
